We all have to be strong. Only then, we can be happy. Some people find support from co-coreligionists, family and friends. These are all good but eventually, we have to find that peace from with ourselves.

I have spent several more years on thus earth than you have and I will give this advice.

Everything depends on your own emotions.

If you emotionally strong person, nobody can mess you up.

Otherwise, everybody will take advantage of you.

There is no such custom or tradition. They are probably upset that you are living separately. It will get better with time.

If eating meat in presence of the Guru is wrong, then it's wrong afterwards and ever. Otherwise, eating meat in Guru's presence isn't wrong either.

That's really a strange situation. Why do your parents have problem with you keeping Sikhi? Generally, it's the other way around.

If you respond, please keep in mind that I am not a Sikh myself. I simply have a opinion that parents should not have problem in your situation.
